SHAK STARS LTD · SERVICE INFORMATION
Service Delivery Policy Clear scope. Practical support.
This policy explains how SHAK STARS LTD arranges and delivers its logistics consultancy services, from the initial enquiry and confirmation of scope through to the agreed work and follow-up communication.
About this policy
SHAK STARS LTD provides logistics planning, delivery scheduling guidance and transport coordination consultancy for small businesses and independent business operators. Our work is intended to help clients organise routine logistics tasks and assess practical options for their operational needs.
This policy describes our general delivery approach. The precise scope, deliverables, fees, estimated schedule and any specific responsibilities will depend on the arrangement agreed with each client.
Where an individual service agreement sets out a specific delivery arrangement, that agreement should be read alongside this policy. Mandatory legal rights remain unaffected.
Services covered
Depending on the requirements discussed and the scope agreed, our consultancy services may include:
- Delivery planning and scheduling guidance.
- Reviews of transport options and routine delivery arrangements.
- Basic route-planning guidance using information available at the time of review.
- Logistics process reviews and practical operational recommendations.
- Supplier communication support within the agreed scope.
- General advice relating to the organisation and movement of goods.
Not every service includes every activity listed above. We will clarify the work included before proceeding with a specific assignment.
Nature of the service: Our core offering is consultancy and logistics support. Unless expressly agreed in writing and legally applicable, we do not act as the physical carrier of goods or represent ourselves as the operator of a transport fleet.
Enquiries and service confirmation
Clients can contact us through the website or using the contact details provided on our Contact page. An initial enquiry allows us to understand the type of assistance being requested and whether it falls within our service scope.
Submitting an enquiry, completing a contact form or receiving an initial acknowledgement does not, by itself, mean that a service has been accepted or that a booking or contract has been confirmed.
Before work begins, the relevant arrangements will be confirmed as appropriate, including:
- The work requested and its intended purpose.
- The agreed deliverables and any limitations.
- The applicable fee and payment arrangements, where relevant.
- The estimated schedule or expected next steps.
- Any information, documents or cooperation required from the client.
- Any agreed exclusions, dependencies or third-party involvement.
Where essential details remain unresolved, we may request clarification before accepting or commencing the assignment.
Our delivery process
The precise process varies by assignment, but a typical consultancy engagement may follow these stages:
Understand
We review the client’s request, operating requirements and available information.
Agree
We clarify the scope, expected outputs, applicable fees and estimated schedule.
Review and advise
We carry out the agreed planning, assessment, process review or coordination support.
Provide the outcome
We share the agreed advice, findings, recommendations or other deliverables and clarify relevant next steps.
The form of delivery may include email correspondence, written recommendations, planning notes, online discussions or other methods agreed for the assignment.
Timeframes and progress updates
Any delivery estimate will be discussed in relation to the scope of work, the information available and the complexity of the request. Where a timeframe is agreed, it is an estimate unless expressly stated otherwise in the applicable agreement.
Work may depend on receiving complete instructions, relevant documents, client decisions or information from third parties. These dependencies can affect the estimated schedule.
If we identify a material issue that may affect an agreed schedule, we will aim to communicate the position and any practical alternatives. We do not promise a particular delivery date unless that commitment has been expressly agreed and is applicable to the service concerned.
Our consultancy does not guarantee carrier collection times, transit times, delivery dates or other operational timings controlled by independent transport providers.
Information and responsibilities
To support an effective service, clients should, where relevant:
- Provide accurate, current and sufficiently complete information.
- Explain relevant delivery requirements, operational constraints and priorities.
- Identify important deadlines, access restrictions or handling requirements.
- Respond to reasonable requests for clarification or approval.
- Ensure they are authorised to share any information or documents supplied to us.
- Review recommendations and decide whether they are appropriate for their own circumstances.
We may need to revise an estimate or discuss a change of scope if material information is missing, inaccurate or provided after work has begun. Any additional work and associated fees will be discussed before proceeding where practicable.
Deliverables and revisions
The deliverables for each assignment will be those described in the relevant service confirmation or agreement. Depending on the work, these may include written recommendations, scheduling guidance, process observations, transport option comparisons or agreed coordination updates.
Unless expressly included in the agreed scope, a service does not automatically include unlimited revisions, ongoing monitoring, repeated route reviews, implementation of recommendations or continuing support after the assignment has concluded.
If you believe a deliverable does not reflect the agreed scope, please contact us with details of the concern. We will review the matter against the agreed requirements and any applicable legal obligations.
Recommendations are prepared using the information available at the time. Operational conditions, carrier policies, traffic, access arrangements, pricing and other external factors may change after delivery.
Carriers, suppliers and other providers
Some assignments may involve communication with carriers, suppliers or other independent providers. The extent of any coordination activity will depend on the scope agreed with the client.
Unless expressly agreed otherwise, we do not control third-party staffing, vehicle availability, operational decisions, service quality, delivery performance, charges or contractual terms.
A recommendation, comparison or coordination activity does not, by itself, mean that SHAK STARS LTD has entered into a transport contract on the client’s behalf or accepted responsibility for the physical movement of goods.
Where a client independently contracts with a carrier or supplier, the relevant third-party agreement will govern that provider’s services, subject to applicable law.
Changes, delays and unforeseen circumstances
A client’s requirements may change after work has been agreed. If a change affects the scope, deliverables, estimated schedule or fee, we will discuss the proposed adjustment and seek agreement before carrying out material additional work, where practicable.
Delays may arise from incomplete information, late approvals, changes in requirements, unavailable third-party information, system interruptions or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Where an interruption materially affects the assignment, we will aim to explain its practical effect and discuss a reasonable way forward. Any change to the service or its commercial terms will be handled in accordance with the applicable agreement and law.
Fees and payment
Applicable fees, payment timing and any agreed expenses will be disclosed or confirmed before the relevant paid work proceeds. The arrangements for one assignment may differ from those for another.
Unless expressly included in the agreed scope, third-party transport charges, carrier fees, supplier charges and other external costs are separate from our consultancy fee.
If a payment is required, the relevant confirmation will explain the applicable amount and payment arrangements. An enquiry alone does not create an obligation to purchase a service.
Any cancellation, refund or rescheduling request will be considered under the applicable agreement, our Service Cancellation Policy and any statutory rights that apply.
Questions, concerns and complaints
If you have a question about the status of an assignment or believe a service has not been delivered as agreed, please contact us and identify the relevant service and issue.
We will review the information available and explain any appropriate next steps. Complaints are handled in accordance with our Complaints Policy.
